This diving competition is in memory of a wonderful young Nadador diver Named Chris Vonk. He was talented, hard working, and always wore a smile on his face. Chris loved to surf and to dive, a true SoCal water-loving boy!
He was a JO National Team member when the Nadadores took JO National Titles in both 1988 & 1989. Chris passed away far too early life (1990 at age 16) when he had a car accident while driving himself to practice.
Chirs’ golden blond hair, bright smile, and big blue eyes will always shine down on our pool.

The Mission Viejo Nadadores are excited to announce the 2024 Morning Madness, our only ALL-TEAM FUNDRAISING EVENT!
What is Morning Madness? Morning Madness is an all-team event marking the culmination of our Swim and Divea-thons on Saturday, June 8, 2024. All of our swimmers and divers will gather to complete their laps/dives to earn their pledges for Swim/Dive-a-thon.
Why do we need to fundraise? MVN is a world-class team with world-class coaches and facilities. Our goal is to continue to provide athlete opportunities by building the best training environment possible.
Previous fundraising efforts have furnished new dryland equipment for both swim and dive, new weight room resources, video analysis equipment for divers, and our new grandstands for the diving well. All of these resources support the continued growth and success of our teams.
Save the date for a special conversation with Dr. Megan Neyer, Olympian, World Champion, and Mission Viejo Nadadores Alumna, as well as world renowned performance consultant.
